ad2games expands to China – Opens office in Shanghai

Berlin, March 6th, 2017 – ad2games, digital marketing service provider for the games industry, expands to China: having already expanded into various Asian markets in the past, the next logical step for the globally operating marketing company was the opening of a dedicated office in Shanghai.

After achieving profitability in the financial year 2016, the company is driving its international expansion forward. While Europe and the US are traditionally strong players in PC, mobile and console gaming, China and the surrounding Asian markets are experiencing continuous growth.

Supported by the new office in Shanghai, the performance marketing specialist can attend to its Asian clients much more efficiently without a time difference and offer its services directly to local customers that are active on western markets.

“The opening of our new Shanghai office is the next step on our roadmap for 2017. We are paying tribute to the fact that Asian companies like Youzu, Netease, R2Games and NGames are creating more and more products specifically for Western audiences and are looking for the best way to market them. We are anticipating great potential especially in China, and we are planning to tap into it by expanding our local partnerships,” Albert Schwarzmeier, CEO of ad2games, explains. China is a growing market for ad2games: 12 % of the company’s business originate in China. “By being present directly in the market, we plan to increase this number drastically”, Schwarzmeier adds.
