ad2games is starting a company blog, a hub for the latest company news and gaming industry stories, written and selected by our international team! We’re excited to be able to share our insights, thoughts, stories and ideas. To kick things off, a short ‘history’ of who we are…
Founded in 2007 and acquired by HitFox in 2012, ad2games is the leading performance marketing network in Europe, with a 100% focus on gaming. With an ever-growing, international team, company revenue has grown by over 650% over the last 2 and a bit years. Our home is in Berlin and in 2013 we opened a new office in San Francisco in 2013 – we’re also further expanding into Asia, Russia and LatAm.
Our work includes major campaigns with top-tier gaming publishers like Gameforge, Nexon, Goodgame Studios and Wargaming with 850+ campaigns across 50+ countries. As Anton Babichev, responsible for user acquisition campaigns at Wargaming.net, says: “Working with ad2games is not only about high quality traffic, it’s a strong and efficient partnership with awesome professionals. Their specialisation on games really shines through in the high quality of the players they acquire.”
The way we see it, the f2p gaming market will only get more important. According to Newzoo it totaled $13.3bn in revenues with a compound annual growth rate of 19.4% – Peter Warman, CEO of Newzoo says “only smartphone and tablet gaming shows a comparable growth going forward.”
Fundamentally, ad2games is an integral player in the industry and a key partner for many game developers and publishers. We’re gamers and take pride in our understanding of the market. We’re games experts, just as much as marketing experts.
Technology is a crucial part of ad2games and will be accordingly represented in this blog. We’re continuously investing in our technology and will advance Media Buying and automatic LTV optimization. Predictive Behavioural Targeting will also be implemented. These are exciting topics to cover.
Long-term partnerships with our partners are the foundation of ad2games and although we are tech-driven, we are a people business in the end. This will all be reflected in this blog with pieces about gaming, marketing, technology and the people that make it all happen.
Finally, a word of thanks to our amazing partners and customers for their continued support. We wouldn’t be where we are without them. With that, enjoy the blog and we look forward to your feedback!
